CRIED STARSCREAM

CHAPTER I
Eyes slowly open. Close. Then open again. Relearning how to see.
A vision appears like a window slowly revealing reality, time, and space. Galaxies swirl and slip through the liquid like blood in water. Shadows pass and the light fights back.

CHAPTER II
The pod opens with a hiss. A figure falls out, gasping for air.

CHAPTER III
Bright light bursts forth. Blinding. Burning. The figure moves forward, blocking their eyes with one hand. Rays break between fingers. Promising something beyond.

CHAPTER IV
Pushing through and into the light, the figure finds not salvation, but desolation. Floating corpses, shattered pods, and unbound souls pollute the area.

CHAPTER V
The figure continues to move ever forward. Scavenging. Surviving. Passing through like a ghost.

CHAPTER VI
Time is lost. Meaningless. Strange doors open. A room forgotten. Ancient tech covered in dust. Lights flicker on. The figure reaches out and flips a glowing switch. Something roars to life. Screens illuminate the room and a beacon on a map begins to blink…
